Hariyali Teej is celebrated beginning from the bright half of the lunar month of Sawan. The third day of dark fortnight of Bhadrapada month is celebrated. In the Bihar State know by Kajari Teej. And other parts of India know Hartalika Teej is the third day of the bright half of Bhadrapada month. Hariyali Teej mainly falls in the month of September. It is mainly celebrated in Western and Northern part of India, primarily by girls and women with dances and songs for prayer rituals. The festival is held for long life and protection of Husband and this day Goddess Parvathi and Lord Shiva worship by the Single woman and a married woman. Single woman mean girls do fast for good and perfect life partner.
